How to use the deodorant on your armpits?

It is very easy to put it on your armpits. Put a little bit of deodorant the size of a small pea on your fingertip and rub it softly on one of your armpits, and do the same for the other armpit. Now your are done.

Here is the list of waxes, butters, oils and essential oils we use in natural deodorants and other body care products.

Baking Soda / Natrium BiCarbonate is a widely used mineral and reduces or eliminates the odors caused by the odor molecules and protects against the formation of these odors. Besides that is has many mote benefits; it softens the skin, it adjusts the Ph value and is a perfect replacement for aluminum salts.

Zea Maiz also known as corn starch is used to absorb a bit of your body’s transpiration moisture

Candelilla Wax is a vegetable wax and comes from the leaves of the Euphorbia Antisyphilitica shrub. This shrub grows in Mexico and has a yellow color. It gives a gloss and harness to cosmetic products and we use it as a substitute for bees wax in our vegan products. You will find it in deodorants and lip balms.

Rapeseed Wax is made of European grown Rapeseed, you know this seed from the yellow fields you see in England, French, The Netherlands and other countries. We use it to harden certain products.

Coconut Oil has antimicrobial effects, soothes your skin, is easily absorbed, has anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties. Coconut Oil has good fatty acids, is a strong moisturizer for your skin, has no sticky or greasy feeling, has anti-aging effects and relieves dry skin. It promotes heeling and prevents peeling of the skin.

Shea Butter is a fat extracted from shea tree nuts that grow on shea trees in West Africa. It is creamy and due to its fatty acids and vitamins it is ideal for softening your skin. Besides that shea butter also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Shea butter soaks into your skin and creates a soft and smooth barrier that seals the moisture for several hours. Ideal for a body lotion.

Beeswax hydrates, soothes, conditions and calms the skin. Beeswax forms a long-lasting hydrating barrier against environmental pollutants and promotes the regeneration of the skin, diminishes the appearance of skin aging, soothes itchiness and irritation.

Cocoa Butter locks in moisture and protects the skin from drying out. It is known for healing irritated and acne-sensitive skin. Cocoa Butter also protects against the sun’s harmful UV rays damage and is rich in antioxidants.

Almond Oil treats dry skin conditions including psoriasis and acne for centuries and has high inflammatory properties so it may help to reduce puffiness and under-eye circles. Almond Oil helps to reverse sun damage, reduces appearance of scars and stretch marks due to its high content of vitamin E.

Zinc Oxide is used for skin healing, broad spectrum UV rays protection, prevents oil formation on skin surface, shrinks large pores and tightens skin to help conceal damaged skin. It combats skin irritation and inflammation. Zinc oxide also facilitates the growth of new tissues.

Zinc Ricinoleate is found in Castor Oil and it traps and absorbs odor molecules that are formed during bacterial decomposition of perspiration. It doesn’t interfere with the natural flora of your skin.

Vitamin E (tocopherol) helps to prevent signs of aging as it absorbs UVB light which is the spectrum of sunlight that is responsible for burning and aging skin. It keeps the skin hydrated and calm.

Olive Oil Extra Virgin is rich in Vitamins A, D, E, and K which have antioxidant, antibacterial properties. Olive oil also has moisturizing properties and softens the skin.

Sunflower Oil is high in Vitamin A, E, C and D and has moisturizing properties, fights acne, helps dry skin, helps sooth and heal the skin.



Orange oil is known to be mood lifting and has strong anti-bacterial and anti-fungi benefits. It appears that it reduces symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Mandarin oil protects the body from inflammations, relaxes muscle spams, minimizes stretch marks, gives energy, brightens the ski and has antioxidant properties.

Grapefruit oil is a natural antibacterial agent that helps to eliminate and to reduce harmful strains of bacteria that can enter the body through the skin. It is known to increase blood flow and to reduce muscle pain.

Bergamot oil fights infections, acts like a natural pain killer, stimulates the secretion of hormones, reduces stress and anxiety and is a mood booster.

Lavender oil is known to reduce wrinkles, lighten skin, lessen acne and eczema, unclogs pores and reduces inflammation. It also act as an bug repellent, can heal burns due to its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties and is calming and nourishing.

Ylang Ylang is much used in aroma therapies and is known for soothing feelings of tension, stress and anxiety. For skin care it is known for regulating and balancing oil production in hair and skin and preventing excessive oiliness and dryness. It has a soothing effect on your skin while it strengthens your skin and hair.

Rosewood helps to regenerate and strengthen the skin and is used to treat stretch marks, wrinkles, reduce scars and tired skin. It moisturizes dry and sensitive skin.

Sandalwood has potent anti-viral, anti-inflammatory properties, is high in antioxidants to fight age-related skin damage and it reduces dark spots on skin. It helps to clean pores and is anti-septic.

Cedarwood soothes irritation, redness, itchiness and irritation. It also helps to reduce dryness, cracking, peeling and blistering of the skin. It helps to eliminate acne-causing bacteria, protects the skin against environmental pollutants and toxins and reduces the appearance of signs of aging on the skin.

Mentha Peperitea or Peppermint has calming and cooling effects on the skin and reduces redness.

Lemongrass combats fungi, inflammations, bacteria, infections, harmful free radicals and oxidative stress.
