This is the first little article about things you might consider in finding (more) happiness. See it as some little tips that may guide you in your life. I have learned many lessons in life and I want to share them with you. Some I wrote myself, some I just copied partly from others and reworked them a bit.
- Exercise Even If It Is for Just 7 Minutes.
You must know that exercising has such a tremendous impact on our happiness and well being that it is actually a very effective strategy for overcoming depression. Studies have shown that patients treated for depression have the most profit by doing exercises above taking medication. The group of patients was tested during 6 months. Of those who had taken the medication alone, 38 percent had slipped back into depression. Those in the combination group (medication and exercise) were doing only slightly better, with a 31 percent relapse rate. The biggest shock, though, came from the exercise group: Their relapse rate was only 9 percent.
Of course you don’t have to be depressive to benefit from exercise. Exercise can help you increase your brain power, can help you relax and get you in better shape thus improve your body image even if you don’t lose any weight.
